What is the SDR interest rate and how is it calculated?

The SDR interest rate is set weekly as the weighted average of 5 short-term government bill rates: US T-bill 3-month (weighted 43%), Euro 3-month OIS (29%), Chinese 14-day repo (11%), Japanese 13-week T-bill (8%), and UK T-bill 3-month (8%). It serves as both the yield on SDR holdings and the cost on SDR allocations.
