EUTOS score = (7 x basophil %) + (4 x spleen size in cm below costal margin). Score above 87 is high risk, associated with only 22% probability of complete cytogenetic response (CCyR) at 18 months with imatinib vs. 69% for low-risk EUTOS.

Is the EUTOS score applicable to 2G-TKIs?

EUTOS was validated primarily for imatinib. With dasatinib or nilotinib upfront, differences between risk groups are attenuated as deeper and faster responses are achieved regardless of EUTOS category. The ELTS score is more applicable across TKI generations.
