How is MAS treated in sJIA?

High-dose corticosteroids (methylprednisolone IV pulses) are first-line. Cyclosporine is added for corticosteroid-refractory MAS. Anakinra (IL-1 inhibitor) and emapalumab (anti-IFN-γ) are used for refractory cases. Avoid NSAIDs and methotrexate during active MAS.
