Higher end dosing (10 mg/kg) is more effective for fevers above 39.5°C. Lower end dosing (5 mg/kg) suffices for mild fever or pain. The anti-inflammatory dose for JIA is 30–40 mg/kg/day in 3–4 divided doses.
